- Greece will today auction 26 Weeks T-Bills with maturity October 23, 2026. The amount to be auctioned is EUR 400mn.

- Based on provisional data, the balance of travel services in February 2026 posted a surplus of EUR 248.8mn, up from a surplus of EUR 89 mn in February 2025. Travel receipts rose by 70.7% (y-o-y) to EUR 1,006.7mn, while travel payments also increased by 19% (y-o-y) to EUR 487.9mn. In January-February 2026, the balance of travel services showed a surplus of EUR 284.8mn, up from a surplus of EUR 179.8mn in the same period of 2025.

- PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to announce new support measures today, when Greek statistics agency ELSTAT is scheduled to release the data for the country’s fiscal performance for 2025, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said on Tuesday. The measures will be tailored to the needs created by the war in the Middle East.

- According to the latest poll conducted by Interview for Politic ahead of the next parliamentary elections, New Democracy leads with 25.7%, followed by PASOK at 13.5%. The party of Maria Karystianou ranks third with 7.9%, while Hellenic Solution and Communist Party of Greece are tied at 5.4%. Although New Democracy remains the leading party, its support has declined compared to the previous poll in March, when it stood at 28.7%. Regarding public opinion on early elections, 56% of respondents favour holding them, 40% prefer the government to complete its term, and 4% did not express an opinion.

- Emmanuel Macron will arrive in Athens on Friday for talks on renewing the Greece–France strategic partnership agreement, with a focus on defence cooperation, small modular reactors (SMRs), as well as research and innovation. The discussions are expected to include collaboration on nuclear energy, particularly SMRs, alongside further armaments cooperation already outlined. According to plans as of late Tuesday night, Macron is also scheduled to visit the frigate Kimon together with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Defence Ministers Nikos Dendias and Catherine Vautrin.
