Balance of Travel Services in Greece posted a surplus of €1,875.8 million in May 2025.

• Greece will today auction 26 Weeks T-Bills with maturity January 23, 2026. The amount to be auctioned is EUR 500mn.

• Based on provisional data, the balance of travel services in May 2025 posted a surplus of EUR 1,875.8mn, up from a surplus of EUR 1,623.9mn in May 2024. Travel receipts rose by 17.7% (y-o-y) to EUR 2,247.8, while travel payments also increased by 30.2% (y-o-y) to EUR 372mn. In January-May 2025, the balance of travel services showed a surplus of EUR 3,006.9 mn, up from a surplus of EUR 2,761.1mn in the same period of 2024.
