• Total deposits placed by the private sector in February 2025 decreased by EUR by 1,701mn compared with a decrease of EUR 4,787mn in January 2025.The annual growth of total deposits increased to 4.9% in February 2025 from 4.3% in January 2025.The annual growth rate of total credit extended to the domestic economy decreased to 6.2% in February 2025 from 7.1% in the previous month.

• Total deposits in February 2025 recorded a net increase of EUR 498.3mn, compared with a net decrease of EUR 211.3mn in January 2025. It should be noted that the above increase includes deposits arisen from receipts of Hellenic Bank shareholders, from the sale of their shares to Eurobank S.A. The annual growth rate of total deposits stood at 7,7%, compared with 6.9% in January 2025. The outstanding amount of total deposits reached EUR 56.2bn. Total loans in February 2025 recorded a net increase of EUR 42.7mn, compared with a net decrease of EUR 45.6mn in January 2025. The annual growth rate stood at 1.9%, compared with 3.2% in January 2025. The outstanding amount of total loans reached EUR 25,4bn.
