- Based on provisional data, the balance of travel services in June 2025 posted a surplus of EUR 2,984.9mn, up from a surplus of EUR 2,793.4mn in June 2024. Travel receipts rose by 8.8% (y-o-y) to EUR 3,306.7mn, while travel payments also increased by 31.4% (y-o-y) to EUR 321.8mn. In January-June 2025, the balance of travel services showed a surplus of EUR 5,991.8mn, up from a surplus of EUR 5,554.5mn in the same period of 2024.

CYPRUS
Macro/Political:
- The Chancellor of Austria, Mr. Cristian Stocker, had a meeting today with the Cyprus President, Nicos Christodoulides. The two leaders held discussions focusing on the development of bilateral relations and plans for enhanced cooperation between their countries. In addition, they are scheduled to participate in meetings with representatives from both nations, addressing areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration.
