President Christodoulides and Erhürman to hold meeting with UN Envoy Holguín today

- Titan S.A announced that it has entered into a share purchase agreement, to acquire 100% of Traçim Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, a company located in one of the most attractive and dynamic cement and cementitious materials markets of Turkey. Assets in the transaction include a modern integrated cement plant with an annual production capacity of approximately 2.5 million tons of cement. This strategic investment enables TITAN to strengthen its existing core heavy materials business in Western Türkiye. The purchase price for the acquisition of 100% of the company’s shares corresponds to approximately USD190mn and the transaction is expected to be completed in the 1Q26. Acquisition is anticipated to contribute to sales above USD 140 mn, to EBITDA above USD 50 mn.

CYPRUS
Macro/Political:
- President of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, will have a meeting today with the Turkish Cypriot community leader, Mr. Tufan Erhürman in the presence of the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy, María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar. In statements made in previous days, Mr. Christodoulides said that he is going to the meeting with the aim of exploring how the two leaders can create the conditions for the resumption of talks from where they left off in Crans-Montana. He also noted that he is ready to discuss confidence-building measures and that he has several new ideas.

- The electricity interconnection between Greece and Cyprus, known as the GSI, is one of the eight priority projects referred to as “Energy Highways,” which were presented yesterday by the European Commission as part of the European Grids Package. According to the Commission, the plan aims to strengthen and accelerate the development of the EU’s energy infrastructure and is part of a broader European strategy to achieve energy independence and climate neutrality by 2050.

- Provisional data released by CyStat showed that in the period of January – October 2025 the trade balance was in deficit of EUR 6,654.7 mn compared to a deficit of EUR 5,606.7 mn in the corresponding period of 2024. Total imports of goods in October amounted to EUR 1,153.3 mn (-8.9% y-o-y) while total exports were EUR 388.9mn (-13% y-o-y).
