• In March 2025, the number of building permits authorized by the municipal authorities in Cyprus stood at 572 compared to 583 in February 2024. During the period January – March 2025, 1.580 building permits were issued compared to 1.876 in the corresponding period of the previous year, recording a decrease 15,8%. The total value of these permits increased by 21.7% and the total area by 15,6%. The number of dwelling units recorded an increase of 16.7%.
