New Cyprus poll shows shifts in party support

Macro/Political:

A new poll by Kathimerini Cyprus points to shifts in Cyprus’ political landscape, with DISY remaining in first place at 20.4% (from 20.4% in December’s poll), while AKEL records a slight decline to 18.5% (from 19.3%). ELAM also appears to be losing ground, dropping to 12.6% (from 14.2%). In the center political space, ALMA rises to 8.9% (from 8.7%) and DIKO edges up to 7.4% (from 7%), while the biggest decline is seen in Direct Democracy Cyprus, which falls to 5.7% (from 8%). At the same time, Volt Cyprus emerges as one of the surprise movers in the poll, doubling its support to 4.2% (from 2.1%). Undecided voters remain a key factor at 8.1% leaving room for further changes ahead of the parliamentary elections.
