  • Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Monday that Greece’s latest energy initiatives will significantly enhance its geopolitical standing, as the country assumes a larger role in U.S.-backed efforts to reshape Europe’s gas supply. Mr. Mitsotakis briefed President Konstantinos Tsoulas on recent developments that place Greece at the centre of regional energy strategy, including an agreement that enables Ukraine to import U.S. LNG through Greek infrastructure.

  • Metlen announced yesterday that its Renewables and Energy Transition Platform has been awarded a contract by Genesis Energy, one of New Zealand’s largest integrated electricity and gas retailers, to deliver a 136-MWp solar project. The scope of work includes full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), as well as operations and maintenance services. Through this collaboration, Metlen strengthens its position as a trusted international partner in accelerating New Zealand’s energy transition.
