Greece raised EUR 600mn through a 26-week T-bill auction at a yield of 1.74%

  • The Greek PDMA announced that during the 26W T-Bills auction of EUR 500mn which took place yesterday, the total bids reached EUR 921mn and the amount finally accepted was EUR 600mn at a uniform yield of 1.74% (vs 1.71% in the previous 26W T-Bills auction in July 2025).

  • In June 2025, the current account recorded a deficit of EUR 1.2bn compared with a surplus in the same period of the previous year, owing to a worsening balance of goods, the primary and secondary income accounts, whereas the services balance registered a small improvement. In January-June 2025, the current account deficit decreased year-on-year mainly due to an improvement in all sub accounts, mainly in the balance of goods and to a lesser extent in the primary and secondary income accounts and the balance of services.

  • The Overall Turnover Index in Industry (both Domestic and Non-Domestic Market) in June 2025 recorded an increase of 0.1% (y-o-y) and an increase of 0.2% (m-o-m).
