Macro/Political: 

  • The Greek PDMA announced that during the 26W T-Bills auction of EUR 500mn which took place yesterday, the total bids reached EUR 963 mn and the amount finally accepted was EUR 600mn at a uniform yield of 1.71% (vs 1.75% in the previous 26W T-Bills auction in June 2025).

Markets:

  • METLEN signed two new contracts for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of renewable energy projects in the UK, further strengthening its presence in the country. The total value of these contracts is GBP 34.8 million. On behalf of Cero Generation, METLEN will design and construct a co-located photovoltaic park and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Bramley, Hampshire. The project will deliver a combined capacity of 155 MW. Under a separate contract with AMPYR Solar Europe, METLEN will construct an 18 MW BESS project in Scruton, North Yorkshire, with a total storage capacity of 49 MWh. It is also worth noting that METLEN currently has 93 renewable energy projects either completed or at various stages of execution or development across the UK and Ireland.
