• The Greek PDMA announced that during the 26W T-Bills auction of EUR 500mn which took place yesterday, the total bids reached EUR 1,018mn and the amount finally accepted was EUR 600mn at a uniform yield of 2.10% (vs 2.19% in the previous 26W T-Bills auction in February 2025).

• Greece’s environment ministry accepted additional interest from US energy Chevron to join hydrocarbon exploration efforts south of the island of Crete. Notably, the company has expressed interest in three locations: one in a sea plot south of the Peloponnese and two south of Crete, covering a total area of 47,000 km². Minister of Energy, Mr. Stavros Papastavrou, stated that this demonstrates confidence in Greece as an attractive investment destination, with a reliable government that ensures stability.

• Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that the minimum monthly wage in Greece will increase by EUR 50 to EUR 880. Mr. Mitsotakis stated that this increase reflects the government’s intention to give back to the community a part of the economic growth.
