  • Attica Bank S.A. announced that, following the Annual Ordinary General Meeting of the Bank’s shareholders held on July 10, 2025, it has decided to change its corporate name to CrediaBank S.A., with the distinctive title CrediaBank. On August 19, 2025, the Athens Stock Exchange was officially informed of this decision. Subsequently, the Bank decided to implement the name change on the Athens Stock Exchange at August 21, 2025.

  • The arrivals of tourists reached 589,116 in July 2025 compared to 551,229 in July 2024, recording an increase of 6.9%. For the period of January – July 2025, arrivals of tourists totalled 2,432,129 compared to 2,203,704 in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 10.4%.

  • The General Director of the Cyprus Hotel Association, Christos Aggelidis, commented that the positive data regarding the recent increase in tourist arrivals in Cyprus is just a starting point for extending the summer season until November, which is also the main strategic target of Cyprus. To achieve this goal, Aggelidis calls on hotels to take the risk and remain open and urges restaurant and shop owners to stay open during those months as well.
