  • Greece will today auction 26 Weeks T-Bills with maturity July 24, 2026. The amount to be auctioned is EUR 400mn.

  • In November 2025, the current account deficit decreased by EUR 1.3bn (y-o-y) and stood at EUR 2.1bn, due to an improvement chiefly in the secondary income account and, to a lesser extent, in the balance of goods and balance of services. In January-November 2025, the current account deficit fell by EUR 3 bn (y-o-y) and stood at EUR 10.3bn.

  • Cyprus mandated Barclays, J.P Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Societe Generale to lead manage a EUR-denominated 10-year bond maturing in January 2036. The transaction will be launched today.

  • A delegation from Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure is arriving in Nicosia this week to finalise an agreement for the development of the Aphrodite gas field. The talks will focus on a small portion of the reservoir, known as the Ishai field, which lies within Israel’s Exclusive Economic Zone. The visit follows a new round of talks held during the Israel-Cyprus-Greece trilateral summit in Jerusalem in December. During that conference, Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen and his Cypriot counterpart, Michalis Damianos, agreed to accelerate discussions to determine the final percentage of the field that will be recognised as Ishai reserves.
