A motion of no confidence was submitted in Parliament against the Greek government.

• Yesterday, Nikos Androulakis, leader of PASOK, submitted a motion of no confidence against the Greek government in parliament. The motion of no confidence co-signed by 85 members of the parliament from PASOK, SYRIZA, the New Left, Course of Freedom Movement for Democracy, and three independent members. The vote is scheduled to take place on Friday.
• The Greek PDMA announced that during the 52W T-Bills auction of EUR 500mn which took place yesterday, the total bids reached EUR 934mn and the amount finally accepted was EUR 600mn at a uniform yield of 2.15%. (vs 2.27% in the previous 52W T-Bills auction in December 2024).

• In January 2025, the weighted average interest rate on new deposits
remained unchanged at 0.45%, while the corresponding rate on new loans decreased to 5.10%. The interest rate spread between new deposits and loans decreased at 4.65 percentage points.

• Eurobank announced that on 05 March 2025 the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission approved the takeover bid (€4.843 per share paid in cash) The Acceptance Period of the Takeover Bid for the shareholders of Hellenic Bank commences on 11th March 2025 and ends on 9th April 2025.
