• The Overall Industrial Production Index in March 2025 recorded an increase of 1.7% (y-o-y). The Overall IPI in March 2024 decreased by 0.6%(y-o-y).The seasonally adjusted Overall Industrial Production Index in January 2025 recorded a decrease of 4.5 % compared with February 2025 (m-o-m).

• Bank of Cyprus profit after tax in 1Q25 stood at EUR 117mn compared to EUR 107mn in 4Q24 and EUR 133mn in 1Q24. The Bank’s NPE ratio and NPE Coverage stood at 1.8% and 122% respectively. New lending reached a record EUR 842mn in 1Q25, marking a 16% increase quarter-on-quarter. Total Capital ratio and CET1 ratio (pro forma) stood at 25% and 19.9%.
