- Optima Bank’s net income in 3Q25 stood at EUR 42.3mn compared to EUR 42.1mn in 2Q25. 9M25 net profit stood at EUR 123.4mn versus EUR 108.2mn in 9M24. The Bank’s NPE ratio was 1.43% .Total Capital ratio and CET1 ratio stood at 16.25%.

- The public offering of Lamda Development’s 7-year bond for an amount up to EUR 500mn will commence on Wednesday November 12 and shall be concluded on Friday November 14. Yield range was set at 3.80% – 4.10%.

Macro/Political:
- Provisional data released by CyStat showed that in the period of January – September 2025 the trade balance was in deficit of EUR 5,884.2 mn compared to a deficit of EUR 4,787 mn in the corresponding period of 2024. Total imports of goods in September amounted to EUR 1,208 mn (+22.5% y-o-y) while total exports were EUR 497.4mn (+40.5% y-o-y).

- During his meeting yesterday with Lebanon’s Minister of Energy, Joseph Saddi, President Nicos Christodoulides noted, among other things, that the two sides are discussing the possibility of an electrical interconnection. For his part, the Lebanese Minister expressed interest in such a project and in the broader subject of energy connectivity between the two countries.
