Greece Raises EUR 500 mn in 6-Month T-Bill Auction at 2.32% Yield

  • The Greek PDMA announced that during the 26W T-Bills auction of EUR 400mn which took place yesterday, the total bids reached EUR 1,160mn and the amount finally accepted was EUR500 mn at a uniform yield of 2.32% (vs 2.24 % in the previous 26W T-Bills auction in June 2026).

  • The European Investment Bank is backing Greece’s efforts to safeguard and strengthen critical services and infrastructure. This support is being provided through specialized technical assistance for the planning and preparation of investments aimed at enhancing the country’s resilience to future challenges and risks. As part of this collaboration, the EIB will assist the Greek authorities in identifying investment priorities, preparing mature projects, and developing a comprehensive investment framework that will support the creation of more resilient, sustainable, and reliable infrastructure.

  • Alumil Aluminium Industry S.A. announced that an agreement setting out the key indicative terms has been signed with four lending banks (Piraeus Bank, Credia Bank, NBG, and Alpha Bank) for the issuance of a syndicated bond loan of up to EUR 135 mn in aggregate. The agreement establishes the framework for the full refinancing of the Company’s existing indebtedness and its exit from the Debt Restructuring Agreement dated 3 December 2020. The new syndicated bond loan is structured into two series. Series A, amounting to EUR 108.5 mn, will be used to refinance the Company’s total existing indebtedness. Series B, amounting to EUR 26.5 million, will provide working capital through a revolving credit facility.

  • Aktor, further to its announcement dated 20 July 2026 regarding the share capital increase and the offering of new ordinary, registered, voting, dematerialized shares through a public offering in Greece and a private placement outside Greece, announced that, following strong investor demand, its Board of Directors decided to accept subscriptions for New Shares amounting to EUR 650,000,002.50. The Board also set the final offer price for the New Shares offered in the Combined Offering at EUR 11.25 per new share.
