- In March 2026, the number of building permits authorized by the municipal authorities in Greece stood at 2,697(+22.3% y-o-y). In the last twelve months from April 2025-March 2026, Total Building Activity (private public) in Greece recorded a 14.4% increase in the number of issued building permits, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

- The annual growth rate of total credit extended to the domestic economy increased to 4.6% in May 2026, from 3.9% in the previous month. The annual growth rate of total deposits increased to 8.1% in May from 6.4% in the previous month. The monthly net flow of total credit was negative by EUR 1,644mn in May 2026, compared with a negative net flow of EUR 1,081mn in the previous month. The monthly net flow of total deposits was positive by EUR 5,063mn compared with a positive net flow of EUR 34mn in April 2026.

- Allwyn announced that it has successfully repriced its existing EUR term loan B facility due in 2032 and priced a private placemen of EUR 55 mn of 4.625% senior secured notes. The repricing will reduce the margin applicable to the EUR Term Loan B by 50 bps, from 300 bps to 250 bps.

- Aktor announced that it has submitted a non-binding expression of interest to Motor Oil Hellas for the acquisition of a 75% equity stake in the companies HLEKTOR S.A. and THALIS E.S. S.A. HLEKTOR S.A. operates in the waste management sector, focusing on the operation and management of waste treatment facilities and concession projects in Greece and abroad. THALIS E.S. S.A. is active in the design and construction of waste management projects and environmental infrastructure.

- In April 2026, revenue from tourism reached EUR 197.5mn, recording a decrease of 35.1% as compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. For the period of January-April 2026, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR 443mn compared to EUR 582.5mn in the corresponding period of 2025, recording a decrease of 23.9%.
