  • Speaking at the Cyprus-India Business Forum, President Christodoulides announced that the Cyprus Trade Centre in Mumbai is expected to become operational on 1st of September. Furthermore, Christodoulides referred to relations between the EU and India, stating that Cyprus is currently holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU during a period of major challenges, but also major opportunities, “to come closer together, build strong partnerships and create prospects.”
    Finally, Christodoulides added that the Cypriot Presidency presents a unique opportunity to leverage the momentum in EU–India relations as a springboard for stronger Cyprus–India economic and business cooperation.
