- A new natural gas compression station has been inaugurated in Komotini as part of a project aimed at strengthening Greece’s role as a key supply channel for Southeast Europe. The EUR 124 million project increases the capacity to export natural gas to Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine, supporting the development of the so-called vertical corridor for regional energy supply.

Metlen secured EUR 65 mn in financing for the construction of Porto Torres and Casale Monferrato, two large-scale solar parks totalling 60 MWs, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The projects will be located in Sardegna and Piemonte, two strategically important regions for Metlen’s expansion in Italy.
