Macro/Political:
- The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) in September 2025 increased by 1.8% (y-o-y) and 0.5% (m-o-m).

- A delegation of farmers and livestock breeders from Larissa met with the leadership of the Ministry of Rural Development to discuss critical issues facing the primary sector, as well as the additional measures implemented since Wednesday to contain a smallpox outbreak affecting sheep and goats. The meeting ended in disappointment for the farmers, who said that no clear payment schedule was provided, and no further support measures were announced. The farmers plan to meet again tomorrow in Larissa and hold discussions with colleagues nationwide to organize mobilizations.

- Intralot announced the completion of the acquisition of Bally’s International Interactive Business for EUR 2.7 bn. Under the terms of transaction, the consideration to Bally’s comprised EUR 1.53 bn in cash and EUR 1.136bn of newly shares of Intralot. With the transaction complete, Intralot is among the largest companies by market cap listed on the ATHEX.

- PPC Group announced that the construction of 2.13 GW of photovoltaic power plants in Western Macedonia has reached 90 % completion. More specifically, the photovoltaic cluster will be the largest in Europe, with an estimated annual generation of 3,150 GWh from Western Macedonia’s photovoltaic installations. This output will cover more than 6 % of the mainland’s annual electricity consumption.

- METLEN and Karatzis Group have entered a new strategic partnership, with a 51% stake held by METLEN and 49% by Karatzis Group, to develop, construct, operate, and manage the energy of a BESS with a capacity of 330 MW / 790 MWh in Thessaly. This will be the largest standalone storage unit deployed to date in Greece and one of the largest in Europe. The project is expected to be completed in 2Q26, with an estimated cost of EUR 170 mn.

- Cyprus Minister of Energy Giorgos Papanastasiou and Greece’s Minister of Energy and Environment Stavros Papastavrou, in a planned meeting that they had in Athens, agreed to continue technical and institutional consultations in the near future, with the aim of promptly advancing the procedures required to commence the next phases of the GSI.
