• In February 2025, the number of building permits authorized by the municipal authorities in Cyprus stood at 562 compared to 706 in February 2024 recording a decrease of 20.4%. During the period January- February 2025, the number of building permits authorized was 1,008 compared to 1.283 in the corresponding period of the previous year. The total value of these permits increased by 12.1% and the total area by 6.6%. The number of dwelling units recorded an increase of 10.2%.
