• In April 2025, the Athens International airport’s passenger traffic amounted to 2.71 million, 9.0% higher than April 2024. During the first four months of 2025, the airport’s passenger traffic reached 8.52 million, above the 2024 levels by 10.6%.

• Cyprus and Israel are seeking to swiftly establish an electricity linkup via an undersea cable that would eliminate their respective energy isolation. Energy Minister George Papanastasiou said that Israel is particularly keen to ensure that it can rely on Cypriot energy reserves from both conventional and renewable sources to power the country if the need ever arises.

• In February 2025, the Industrial Turnover Index reached 130,4 units recording an increase of 4.3% (y-o-y). For the period January – February 2025, the index recorded an increase of 5.6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
